Well another crazy week has passed. This past week was a huge one around here. Ashlin graduated from Valley High School on Sunday. Her party was on Saturday, so last week we spent a lot of time getting ready for that. It turned out great! Ashlin and her friend Amber had their open house together at a hotel in West Des Moines. So many people came to see her and wish her well, I think she really had a great time. Probably a little nerve racking for her a lot of people from different avenues in her life all coming together.
I am so proud of her, anyone that has heard her story knows that this is a huge accomplishment for her, there was a point we weren't sure she would make it. She has come so far and I am excited to see where she goes next.
About a year ago she started going to church regularly with us and has really stuck with it. It is phenomenal to see the difference in her. She carries herself with pride and confidence now that was missing for so long. I hope she continues on the path she has started, the whole world is out there for her to conquer.
